Calming Effect - Being the mentor for Kieran for seven years has allowed Mysh'at to learn how to calm the boy. When Kieran becomes unruly or uncontrollably demanding, Mysh'at steps in and calms him down. Mysh'at is the only person who is able to truly make Kieran listen to him.



16. Personality: Mysh'at appears generally calm and stoic, his Nikto ability to exhibit limited facial expressions the cause for most of this. He has much patience, especially for his young pupil, and advises him caution against rash action. Mysh'at has evolved in recent years, especially so since his days in the Jedi Order. He has witnessed the realities of the Underground and although he does not expressively condone it, he accepts violence as a part of life; even to the point, at times, of using it himself.

17. Bio: Mysh'at was discovered at a young age by the Jedi of the old Order and the old Republic. He was brought to the Temple on Coruscant to be trained as a Jedi. Upon attaining the rank of Jedi Knight, Mysh'at was sent out on many missions to planets that needed assistance during the Clone Wars. He was not a fighter, but could be a strong negotiator, maintaining the loyalty of several planets.

Mysh'at was sent to Sluis Van during the Clone Wars to try to convince their leaders to return to the Republic. Peaceful negotiations were unsuccessful due to one of the government's advisers speaking out strongly against Myst'at's arguments. The Jedi Council weighed a heavy burden on Mysh'at to get Sluis Van to return to the Republic, and Mysh'at took measures beyond what he would normally have done. He disposed of the single member in opposition, but instead of creating a unanimous decision in support of Mysh'at, the government forced him offworld, outraged at his actions. Ashamed of his actions, Mysh'at covered up his deed and reported his failure to the Jedi Council.

The Council accepted his report without question and sent him on more missions. But Mysh'at was consumed by the actions he had taken on Sluis Van, and his guilt and remorse caused him to renounce the Jedi cause. He took up residence in a remote part of the galaxy, moving around from place to place, blending in with the general population.

For almost thirty years, Mysh'at wandered the galaxy. He soon made his home on Nar Shaddaa, far from the prying eyes of the Empire, where Andros Tyandas located him following his own move to the planet. Tyandas offered Mysh'at a job tutoring his son, Kieran, in exchange for protection. Several Hutt syndicate members had accosted Mysh'at in recent years, and although the Kajain'sa'Nikto could easily defend himself, he agreed to Andros' terms.

As a mentor to the boy Kieran, Mysh'at (nicknamed Myshi by the young boy) taught him the general repertoire of subjects that galactic citizens need to know. Mysh'at nurtured the boy's own areas of development, when Kieran was picked on by the gangs on Nar Shaddaa, Mysh'at taught Kieran how to spot their traps and spring his own on a few occasions. After Andros was killed, Mysh'at stayed close to Kieran to protect him, as he was made to swear to the boy's father years ago when he accepted the position.

17. Bio: Living on Nar Shaddaa wasn't easy for Arrun'shala and Ardan'shala until they met Andros Tyandas. In the last year of his life, he bought them off a rival smuggler who owed him a debt. The twins were originally given to Andros' son, Kieran, as playmates, but they never developed into that capacity. Following Andros' death, the girls were the main source of entertainment when Kieran met with guests and businessmen.

In their official capacity, they are entertainers, although they have agreed to satisfy the nighttime pleasures of any male guest that Kieran hosts. To their dismay, despite their numerous encounters with members of Kieran's own staff, they have yet to convince their master to a night of pleasure.
